  39. I think I might have 2 possible solutions, as I am suffering from the 
  40. same thing.  I called my ISP and asked for help.  They said that 
  41. sometimes the config PPP open button is ghosted because PPP has not 
  42. been selected in the MacTCP control panel.  Try selecting PPP in your 
  43. MacTCP control panel and then see if the ghosting disappears.

  45. If that doesn't work, (it did not work for me), then the problem may 
  46. be with your RAM.  I have a DKB 3128 memory expansion board with an 
  47. 8Mb SIMM and 4Mb SIMM.  Config PPP did not work with both simms 
  48. installed, but it worked with just the 4Mb SIMM.  Actually I am 
  49. writing this now with my computer open and with the 4Mb SIMM installed 
  50. as I have been trying to do some troubleshooting.  If you have a fix 
  51. on how to get all the memory working, let me know! Otherwise try 
  52. mucking about with you memory in differnet configurations or disable 
  53. the memory on your Fastlane.  Hope that works!
